Trip to Six Flags Chicago

Our friends Kyle and Wendi Smith invited us to go to Six Flags with them this past weekend. Kyle works for Bank and America and was able to get discounted tickets for us. As you can see the kids had a great time! They were able to ride all of the rides they wanted without having to wait more than five or ten minutes. By the time we were ready to leave the lines were much longer, but it worked out perfectly for us. The guys did go on one roller coaster, but had to wait an hour for that. A good time was had by all! :)

We are heading out to Southern Indiana tomorrow evening. Dave's parents live in Jasper and we will be hanging out with them for a few days. We have lots of day trips planned while we are there. I will be sure to have lots of fun pictures to post!

I found out this past week that I will be teaching first grade again! YEAH!!! I am super excited to be going back to my old stomping grounds and teaching with my awesome partner again. I love working with Kim (yes, everyone calls us Kim squared) and look forward to a great year. This will also give me the opportunity to teach the kids I had last year again (well at least some of them, I promised Kim I would share :) I loved that class, so it will be lots of fun! I can't believe we are 2 1/2 weeks away from the start of school.. YIKES!!! I have a lot of work to do to get ready.
