We have returned from the great Smoky Mountains! My mom and step-dad recently moved from Maine to NC and are currently building a beautiful home up on one of those mountains. My sister Kris and her son Keegan were able to join us as well. The kids had lots of fun getting reacquainted with each other. Anna hasn't seen any of them since this time last year. We had a lot of catching up to do. Dave was able to take a couple of bike rides while he was there. He was a little disappointed that he didn't get to do the big ride he had planned due to lots of loose dogs chasing him.
We took a road trip up the mountain where my mom and Dave are building their new house and saw some beautiful waterfalls. The kids really like seeing the big falls and touching some of the water.
They have a place in their town called the Fun Factory that we had to go and check out. The kids had a blast (I guess we did too! :) They had lots of activities for younger children as well as adults. We had so much fun we went their twice during our trip. :)
Overall a nice trip. We enjoyed seeing everyone and loved watching Anna play with Keegan.
